About Conquest of Elysium 5
Conquest of Elysium 5 is a quick‑turn‑based fantasy strategy game that blends deep faction variety with rogue‑like elements. Each of the 24 factions plays with a distinct set of mechanics, goals and magic rituals, making every campaign feel unique. New content adds four extra planes, boats, ports, three fresh factions, additional rituals, summons, battle maps and monsters, expanding strategic options. The game runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and supports a wide range of multiplayer configurations, from online PvP and co‑op to LAN and split‑screen play. Random maps, rituals and spells ensure that no two games repeat, while random events and background planes add surprise and depth.
01 / THE GUIDE
Distinct Faction Playstyles
Each of the 24 factions in Conquest of Elysium 5 follows its own gameplay loop. A druid builds a forest empire to harvest ingredients for woodland summons, while a dwarf focuses on mines and unit production, upgrading troops for longevity. The Scourge Lord drains life from Elysium to empower himself and his Heralds.
These differences go beyond unique units or buildings; they alter core mechanics and goals. Players must adapt strategies to the faction’s inherent strengths and limitations, making each playthrough a fresh tactical challenge.
- Compare early resource generation between factions to decide which playstyle suits your preferred pace.
- Observe how each faction’s rituals influence long‑term goals before committing to a specific victory path.

Planes and Travel Mechanics
The game features ten planes, including the Infernal plane of devils and the sky‑realm above Elysium. Boats and ports let players reach islands beyond the main continent, while beanstalks, rainbows and mountain spires allow armies to ascend to the clouds.
Visiting planes is rare but impactful; actions there can trigger events like summoning demon lords or banishing devils back to Inferno. Storming a plane such as Inferno can permanently destroy a demon lord, though it is extremely difficult.
- Plan early exploration of ports to open island options before opponents expand.
- Weigh the risk of entering a plane against the potential reward of unique summons.

Rituals and Combat Spells
Factions start with a random set of rituals and combat spells, and the random map ensures variability. Additional rituals and spells can be learned during the game if the player acquires the right resources and discovers appropriate locations.
These magical tools shape each faction’s strategy, allowing for summons, enhancements, or special actions that align with the faction’s core playstyle.
- Track which resources unlock new rituals to prioritize their acquisition.
- Experiment with different spell combinations to discover synergistic effects.

Random Events and World Hazards
Elysium’s world is punctuated by random events such as bumper harvests, bandit raids, and the gates of the underworld opening. These events can alter resource flow, threaten territories, or introduce powerful enemies.
The unpredictability forces players to stay adaptable, balancing expansion with defensive preparations for sudden challenges.
- Maintain a reserve of resources to mitigate negative event impacts.
- Use positive events like harvests to accelerate your faction’s long‑term goals.
