01 / THE GUIDE
Baking Recipes
The game lets you learn breads, pies and cookies. Each recipe can be altered by adding supplemental ingredients such as berries, nuts or spices, letting you create variations within the documented system.
Every successful bake raises your baking skill, which provides unique bonuses as the skill levels up. The bakery also serves as your living space, where you can arrange tools and furniture.
- Try different supplemental ingredients one at a time to see how the recipe changes.
- Place frequently used tools near the workbench for quicker access.

Foraging & Farming
Ingredients are obtained by planting wheat to make flour, foraging for items in the forest, or mining in caves for salt. Each recipe may require a specific ingredient, encouraging you to explore multiple areas.
Performing these actions improves your foraging skill, which grants unique bonuses as it levels. The skill system tracks success across all four basic abilities.
- Plant wheat early in your play session to secure a steady flour supply.
- Visit caves after you have basic tools to reach the salt nodes.

Community Charm
Sugar Creek Burrows is populated by bun villagers with distinct tastes. Giving them baked goods unlocks new dialogue and reveals each character’s preferred flavors.
As you progress relationships, additional conversation options become available, expanding the village’s narrative without altering gameplay mechanics.
- Observe which baked goods each villager enjoys before gifting.
- Talk to villagers after a gift to trigger new dialogue.

Birdwatching
Using birdoculars you can photograph more than thirty bird species, each accompanied by a true‑to‑life call. Birds appear in various weather, seasons and times of day, encouraging you to explore the sky under different conditions.
Captured birds add to a personal collection, showcasing the game’s attention to natural detail without affecting other systems.
- Check the sky at dawn and dusk for species that may appear then.
- Note the weather when you spot a new bird to help plan future outings.

Recycling Recyclobots
Scientist bun Rowan’s experiment released rogue recyclobots. You capture them with a net gun, turning the mishap into a gameplay loop centered on recycling.
Each capture raises your recycling skill, which provides unique bonuses as it levels, mirroring the progression of the other three basic skills.
- Practice net‑gun aim in open areas before tackling dense robot clusters.
- Coordinate with a partner to cover more ground when searching for bots.
