About Cauldron
Cauldron puts you in the role of Nyx, a young witch cast into a darkness‑covered world. Exploration, monster battles, and a suite of minigames let you gather resources and level up a party of over twenty heroes.
The game supports many playstyles: you can grind minigames, let the auto‑collect system work while you’re away, or focus on perfecting party skill trees. Exponential minigame growth, multiple modes, and an unlockable autobattler give a flexible solo experience on Windows.
01 / THE GUIDE
Exploration & Monster Battles
Moving through the mysterious world triggers battles with monsters. Defeating foes unlocks new areas, expanding the map and revealing additional content.
Each victory contributes resources that feed the upgrade system, allowing you to improve minigames, heroes, and other elements without prescribing a single combat approach.
- Notice which monsters drop the resources you need most and prioritize those encounters.
- Balance battle frequency with minigame play to keep a steady flow of materials.

Minigame Progression
Cauldron offers a variety of minigames that generate resources. Progression is described as exponential, meaning numbers can become very large as you continue playing.
Earned resources can be spent to upgrade the minigames themselves, heroes, abilities, and more, creating a loop where stronger minigames yield greater returns.
- Track which minigames give the highest resource return for your current level.
- If you enjoy repetitive play, consider upgrading minigames early to benefit from their scaling.

Hero Skill Trees
More than twenty heroes each have unique skill trees, allowing deep customization of abilities and combat roles. Points can be allocated to shape each hero’s strengths and weaknesses.
The variety of trees supports different strategies, from damage‑focused builds to supportive or defensive configurations, giving players freedom to experiment with party composition.
- Try different skill allocations to discover synergistic combos.
- Focus on a few heroes at a time to avoid spreading upgrades too thin.

Game Modes & Autobattler
Cauldron includes several modes such as Idle, Pacifist, and EVIL, each offering a distinct way to experience the game. An unlockable autobattler can handle combat automatically for you.
These options let players tailor the level of active involvement, from hands‑off progression in Idle mode to full engagement in combat‑heavy playstyles.
- Try Idle mode if you prefer resource accumulation without frequent battles.
- Unlock the autobattler early if you want to focus on minigames and upgrades.

Collection Box & Sidekick
An upgradable collection box automatically gathers resources, reducing the need for manual collection. Nyx is accompanied by a snarky pink sidekick who never leaves her side.
The sidekick adds personality to the journey, while the collection box streamlines resource management for players who favor a more passive playstyle.
- Upgrade the collection box early to lessen manual gathering chores.
- Enjoy the sidekick’s dialogue for added flavor during long sessions.
