About Cauldron Chaos: Brew Potions & Tidy Up
In Cauldron Chaos: Brew Potions & Tidy Up, an alchemical explosion has turned a shop into a massive pile of ingredients. Players must gather, process, brew, and shelve more than a thousand items using a magic wand while every object follows physics.
The game can be played alone or with friends in online co‑op. As shelves fill with elixirs, the laboratory transforms, showing floating wisps, birds, and blooming flowers, turning a cleaning task into a visual evolution.
01 / THE GUIDE
Wand Interaction
The magic wand is the primary tool for all actions. It lets players levitate, throw, or gently place any scattered ingredient, and every interaction respects the game’s physics system.
Because physics affect movement, objects may roll, bounce, or settle differently depending on how they are handled. This gives players the freedom to choose a calm sorting method or a rapid, chaotic approach.
- Observe how items behave when lifted versus thrown to decide which feels more efficient.
- Try moving a few ingredients slowly first to learn the wand’s range and responsiveness.

Co‑op Structure
Online co‑op lets multiple players share the workload. Teams can split duties such as gathering, processing, brewing, or shelving, creating a pipeline that moves ingredients through each stage.
The game does not prescribe a fixed role order, so groups may experiment with different task chains. More participants simply increase the amount of cleaning that can be done at once.
- Discuss a simple division of labor before starting to avoid duplicated effort.
- Swap roles after a short period to see which arrangement feels most natural.

Processing Stations
Multiple processing stations are scattered throughout the laboratory. Raw ingredients must be delivered to these stations before they can be turned into elixirs.
Stations are part of the physics system, so items can be slid, tossed, or placed directly onto them. Their placement influences how quickly ingredients move through the workflow.
- Plan routes that keep travel between gathering spots and the processing stations short.
- Use gentle throws to land items accurately on station inputs.

Elixir Recipes
Almost two hundred unique elixir recipes can be brewed once ingredients have been processed. Each brewed elixir is placed on a shelf, contributing to the laboratory’s visual transformation.
Filling shelves triggers visual effects such as floating wisps, birds, and blooming flowers. Brewed elixirs are placed into proper shelves, and filled shelves bring the visual changes.
- Mix a variety of recipes to see a broader range of visual changes.
- Prioritize recipes that use abundant ingredients to keep momentum.

Controller Support
Cauldron Chaos includes full controller support, covering DualShock and DualSense gamepads. Players can navigate menus, select items, and manipulate objects using a controller.
Full controller support means the game can be played using supported controllers such as the DualShock and DualSense.
- Test both DualShock and DualSense to see which feels more comfortable for wand control.
- If sensitivity options exist, adjust them to match your preferred movement style.
