About Cats Make You Smarter!

Cats Make You Smarter! is a casual memory‑puzzle game where players flip concealed cat tiles to find identical pairs. Boards start small and grow larger after all matches are claimed, with bonus points for quick, efficient clears.

The title offers five distinct modes, each adding a twist such as patience meters, moving tiles, strict timers, or psychedelic color changes. All modes share the core flip‑and‑match mechanic while varying the constraints that test memory and reflexes.

01 / THE GUIDE

Sleepy Kitty Mode

Sleepy Kitty includes a time limit but otherwise lets you flip tiles as many times as needed, matching the classic memory experience. The mode is described as suitable for beginners or when the player feels tired.

Even with the timer, the core loop remains: flip 2‑5 tiles, claim identical cats, and earn points. Bonus points may still be awarded for completing the board quickly and with few mismatches.

  • Watch the timer and plan flips to avoid unnecessary delays.
  • Use the unlimited flip allowance to double‑check tile positions before committing.

02 / THE GUIDE

Good Luck, Jerry! Mode

Each cat tile carries Patience points that decrease when the tile is flipped without a match. When a tile reaches one Patience point it gains a red border as a visual warning.

If Patience reaches zero the tile becomes a red‑background Trouble tile; flipping a non‑matching Trouble tile causes all flipped Trouble tiles to move randomly, reshuffling the board and increasing difficulty.

  • Prioritize tiles with red borders to prevent them becoming Trouble tiles.
  • Avoid flipping Trouble tiles unless you are confident of a match.

03 / THE GUIDE

Jones of Nostromo Mode

In this mode all cats have fewer Patience points, and one special cat called the Monster starts with zero Patience. The Monster behaves like a Trouble tile and must be matched only after every other cat has been claimed.

Because the Monster acts as a Trouble tile, flipping it without a match also triggers random movement of other flipped Trouble tiles, further complicating the board layout.

  • Clear all non‑Monster cats before attempting the Monster tile.
  • Monitor Patience levels to keep Trouble tiles from appearing early.

04 / THE GUIDE

Nyan‑Nyan Ninja Mode

All tiles start face up, but the player has a very limited time to select identical cats. Successful matches add extra time, while an incorrect selection halves the remaining time immediately.

The mode therefore blends pattern recognition with rapid decision‑making; each mistake sharply reduces the time you have to continue finding matches.

  • Focus on quick, accurate selections to preserve your timer.
  • Treat each match as an opportunity to extend the remaining time.

05 / THE GUIDE

Mr. Bigglesworth Sends His Regards Mode

Every cat starts with zero Patience, so any unmatched flip turns the tile into a wandering Trouble tile. Flipping a tile also flips its immediate neighbors for free, allowing up to nine tiles to be observed at once.

Each cat randomly changes color on every flip, meaning players must ignore color cues and rely on the cat’s shape and details to identify matches.

  • Take advantage of the free neighbor flips to memorize larger groups of cats.
  • Concentrate on the cat’s silhouette rather than its temporary color.
