About Carnival Hunt
Carnival Hunt is a 5v1 first‑person asymmetrical horror game where five wind‑up Bunnies cooperate to complete objectives and escape a twisted carnival. One player becomes the Carnival Monster, hunting the Bunnies while consuming their wind‑up keys to stay active.
Matches revolve around limited keys, noise, and a dwindling wind‑up charge. Procedurally arranged maps built from 32 modular rooms change routes each hunt, forcing both sides to adapt quickly.
01 / THE GUIDE
Surviving as the Bunnies
Bunnies are fragile and lack combat power, so teamwork, careful movement, and resource management are essential. Players must explore, share keys, and coordinate escapes while avoiding the Monster’s detection.
Noise from keys, mechanisms, or voice chat can reveal positions, so staying still and playing dead among fallen Bunnies can buy time. A separated Bunny becomes an easy target.
- Conserve keys by moving together and using them only for essential actions.
- Hide among dead Bunnies and remain still when the Monster approaches.

Playing as the Carnival Monster
The Monster hunts the Bunnies, tracks their movements, and consumes their wind‑up keys to extend its own charge. Unique abilities focus on hunting, deception, pressure, and control.
Success relies on separating the Bunnies, disrupting objectives, and predicting their routes through the modular rooms.
- Prioritize capturing Bunnies that carry many keys to boost your charge.
- Use abilities to break Bunny coordination and force mistakes.

Wind‑up Charge and Keys
Both sides have a wind‑up charge that depletes over time. Bunnies use limited keys to stay moving, wind teammates, and activate mechanisms; each use creates noise.
The Monster must consume Bunnies’ keys to remain active, making key management a shared tension point throughout the match.
- Allocate keys to teammates low on charge to keep the group moving.
- Avoid unnecessary key use near the Monster to reduce audible clues.

Procedurally Arranged Maps
Each hunt uses a layout built from 32 modular rooms across several carnival themes. Routes, room connections, and spaces change between matches.
Understanding the current layout quickly is crucial for completing objectives and finding escape routes before the performance ends.
- Explore early to map out key routes and locate objectives.
- Communicate discovered connections quietly to avoid alerting the Monster.
05 / THE GUIDE
Audio and Positional Awareness
All players experience the hunt from a first‑person view, limiting situational awareness. Positional voice chat helps teammates but can be overheard by the Monster.
Every sound—keys, mechanisms, movement, or voice—can expose a Bunny’s location, making silence a strategic choice.
- Use voice chat sparingly and only when necessary.
- Move silently and wait for quiet moments to perform key actions.
