About Candellum
Candellum is a top‑down hack‑and‑slash where fire defines every action. You control a candle warrior inside a dormant wax factory, constantly switching between lit and unlit states. Lighting the candle makes attacks stronger but drains wax each second; staying unlit conserves wax but reduces power.
The game mixes combat with environmental puzzles, requires you to harvest wax from defeated foes, and challenges you to explore dark corridors to uncover the factory’s hidden secret. A final boss that also manipulates fire guards the deepest mystery.

Flame Toggle System
Combat centers on throwing your flame to toggle between lit and unlit modes. When lit, attacks hit harder and burn brighter, but wax drains continuously. When unlit, you preserve wax at the cost of weaker attacks.
Enemies use the same mechanic, so observing their current state helps you decide when to attack or retreat. Landing your thrown flame on an enemy weakens them, while pulling it back slows your own wax loss.

Wax Harvesting
