Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is an adventure‑RPG that follows three insect heroes—Vi, Kabbu, and Leif—on a quest across the continent of Bugaria to find a legendary sapling that grants immortality. The game blends colorful platforming, turn‑based battles with action commands, and a cooking system while offering seven story chapters, many sidequests, and optional bosses.

Story and World
Bugaria is a small, prosperous continent where insects travel to seek scattered relics, the most coveted being the Everlasting Sapling. Consuming a leaf from the sapling is said to grant immortality, prompting the trio of explorers to journey across varied environments.
The heroes traverse locations such as the Ant Kingdom, Snakemouth Den, Golden Hills, Lost Sands, and Vi’s home, the Bee Kingdom, solving puzzles and helping the bug populace while uncovering the continent’s secrets.

Combat System
Battles shift to a turn‑based mode where each hero can use Action Commands—Vi’s Beemerang, Leif’s Ice Magic, or Kabbu’s Horn—to power up attacks or block enemy moves. The Turn Relay feature lets the party chain actions to exploit weaknesses.
Over 30 sidequests and 15 optional bosses provide varied combat challenges that test the effective use of these commands and teamwork.
