01 / THE GUIDE
Co‑op Gameplay
The core experience centers on two players controlling Colin and Floyd at the same time, demanding tight timing for every movement. Shared puzzles require both characters to act in concert, making coordination essential for progress.
Co‑op can be played locally with split‑screen or over the internet via online co‑op, allowing partners to collaborate regardless of physical proximity while facing the same platform challenges.
- Discuss timing cues before attempting a tricky sequence.
- Keep both characters visible on the shared screen.

Unique Abilities
Floyd is equipped with a boost mechanism, while Colin carries a climbing rope; each tool is tied to its character and is required to navigate different terrain features.
Depending on the area, Floyd receives a location‑specific gadget such as a Wind Gun in Glacial Falls or a Freeze Gun in Moai Chambers, adding variety to the puzzles he can solve.
- Practice Floyd’s boost in open sections before tight corridors.
- Use Colin’s rope to reach platforms that boost cannot access.
