About Bomber Crew
Bomber Crew is a single-player strategic survival simulation from Runner Duck in which you command a World War II bomber and its crew. You recruit, train and personalise each member, whose names, skills and back-stories are generated procedurally, so every playthrough feels distinct. Death is permanent, which makes crew choices genuinely consequential.
The aircraft is physics-based and demands real-time attention to fuel, ammunition, hydraulics and other systems. Missions are fast-paced expeditions in which danger arrives from every angle once the wheels are up, requiring constant coordination between pilot and crew.

Crew Management
You choose crew members whose names, skills and back-stories are procedurally generated. Every role aboard the bomber—pilot, navigator, gunner and the rest—carries its own responsibilities, and the description stresses that on a WW2 bomber each role is essential, so you can train and personalise members before each sortie.
Because death is permanent, a crew member lost in flight is gone for good. This stakes-raising design encourages careful assignment of duties and close attention to crew condition during missions, since each loss can shape the outcome of later expeditions.
- Spread competence across all roles so no single loss cripples the aircraft.
- Make sure you have the right team for the job before committing to a high-risk expedition.

Flight Simulation
The bomber uses physics-based handling, so you monitor fuel, ammunition, hydraulics and other gauges in real time. Keeping these systems in order is what keeps the aircraft operational from take-off to landing.
Environmental hazards such as poor weather and low oxygen are part of the simulation. The official description lists them among the perils that await once the aircraft is airborne, adding difficulty beyond enemy action.
- Check fuel and ammunition levels regularly to avoid mid-mission shortages.
- Treat weather and oxygen as system threats, not just background flavour.

Mission Danger
Missions are described as high-risk expeditions where danger comes from every angle: hostile fighters, anti-aircraft fire, bad weather, oxygen shortage and an array of other perils. These threats emerge once the wheels are up, testing both crew coordination and system management.
The fast pace means you must react quickly. Preparation is highlighted as key: tag enemy fighters before they reach you, ensure your destination is marked, and confirm your team suits the mission before departure.
- Tag approaching fighters early so the crew can respond before contact.
- Complete destination marking and crew checks during the preparation phase.

Visual Customisation
The game includes a simple in-game design tool for nose art and liveries. You can apply a wide array of pre-made designs or create your own, giving your aircraft a personal look.
The customisation is presented as a way to make the bomber yours. The description does not attribute any gameplay effect to these visuals, so treat them as a creative outlet rather than a tactical tool.
- Experiment with the design tool to develop a signature style for your squadron.
- Try both pre-made and custom liveries to find a look you enjoy.
