About BOKURA: planet
BOKURA: planet is a two‑player puzzle adventure that requires each participant to run the game on their own computer while speaking with the other player. The title provides no built‑in voice or text chat, so an external communication method such as a voice‑chat program is essential for solving the shared challenges.
The story follows two condemned convicts who crash‑land on a red planet after their ship fails. While both must cooperate to escape, each receives a secret personal objective that only they can see, adding a layer of hidden motivation to the cooperative puzzles.

Communication Requirements
Both players must arrange an external way to talk, for example a voice‑chat application, because the game itself does not include any communication feature. Real‑time conversation is needed to describe what each player sees and to coordinate actions.
The need for a reliable audio link applies whether the two computers are on the same local network or connected over the internet. Without clear communication, the cooperative puzzles cannot be progressed.
- Test your voice‑chat software before starting the first stage.
- Use headphones to minimise background noise for both players.

Push Mechanic
A new action called Push lets a player press a button to send the other player flying across the environment. This can be used to move a partner onto a platform or across a gap, but the result can also be hazardous.
Because the outcome of a push is not always predictable, players need to discuss when and where to use it. Coordinating pushes near safe areas reduces the risk of unintentionally sending a partner into danger.
- Agree on safe zones before attempting a push.
- Avoid pushing when the other player is near cliffs or spikes.

Estimated Playtime
The full experience is expected to last around three hours, covering all stages and the hidden‑objective twists. Knowing the approximate length helps players plan a single uninterrupted session or break it into shorter periods.
Because continuous communication is crucial, it is advisable to schedule short pauses together if the session extends beyond the initial three‑hour estimate, ensuring both players stay synchronized.
- Reserve a three‑hour block for the first playthrough.
- Take brief, coordinated breaks to discuss strategy.

Platform Support
BOKURA: planet runs on Windows and macOS; a Linux version is not listed. Players on either supported operating system can join the same game, allowing cross‑platform cooperation.
Partial controller support is included, but the game can be played entirely with keyboard and mouse. Controllers are optional and do not affect core gameplay.
- Confirm both computers meet the OS requirements before purchase.
- Use a controller only if it feels comfortable for you.
