About Bobo Bay
Bobo Bay is a cozy pet simulation where you raise and care for creatures called Bobos. Each Bobo progresses through life stages—from Sapling to Seedling, then Bud, and finally Sprout—while their colors, patterns, stats, and personalities evolve.
Beyond daily care, you can breed new generations, compete in scheduled Trials, complete the main-progression Sagas, improve the town with public works, and explore randomized islands aboard the electric Bayfarer. The game blends collection, competition, and exploration in a single‑player experience.

Bobo Life Stages
Bobos begin as Saplings and grow into Seedlings, developing based on their stats before reaching the full‑grown Bud stage. When conditions are right, a Bud will Sprout, offering a chance to evolve further.
Each stage influences how you interact with the Bobo, as distinct traits and moods appear at different points in its growth. Monitoring these changes helps you provide appropriate care and plan future breeding.

Breeding and Trait Variety
Mashing two Bobos creates a new generation with thousands of possible combinations. Body color, eye color, part shapes, patterns, sheens, stats, and personality traits can all differ in the offspring.
Distinct traits and moods completely change how you interact and care for the new Bobo, making each mash a unique experiment in genetics and appearance.

Trials and Sagas
Scheduled competitions called Trials occur every day and are open to any Bobo. Night‑time trials let night‑owl Bobos face different challenges, and relay races are also available.
Sagas form the main progression: you complete all contests in order with the same Bobo. Finishing a Saga rewards new maps, new Bobo species, and special town unlocks.

Town and Public Works
The town offers shops to buy accessories, register new Bobos, visit the doctor, drop them at camp, and purchase snacks. Raising money for Public Works Projects opens new shops, renovates existing ones, and adds garden items.
Exploring the alley at night and adopting Bobos from the shelter are additional ways to interact with the community and expand your options.

Ocean Exploration with the Bayfarer
Take the electric Bayfarer onto the open ocean to discover a fresh set of randomized islands each day. On these islands you can scavenge rare items, race time trials, tackle platforming challenges, and uncover new shores.
