About Blood Lily Loop
Blood Lily Loop is a single‑player adventure that immerses you in a Cthulhu‑inspired mystery. You play as Sally, a fresh graduate, probing the odd behavior of your longtime friend Lily while the world around you feels subtly off‑kilter.
The game presents 2.5D camera work, three possible endings that react to your choices, Steam achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud, and family sharing. Its story is adapted from a tabletop‑RPG session titled “雪の先” (After the Snowfall).

Story and Characters
The narrative follows Sally confronting Lily, a college friend who hints at a hidden truth. Dialogue between Sally, Lily, and Wiseman—who gifts a book called The Dunwich Secrets—drives the mystery forward.
The plot is drawn from TRPG sessions the developers played, with consent from the original author Marikoro. This adaptation blends personal relationships with horror elements to shape the unfolding story.
- Read each line of dialogue carefully; subtle phrasing often foreshadows later revelations.
- Note Wiseman’s references to occult literature, as they echo themes found in other clues.

Exploration and Clue Gathering
Players investigate objects and converse with NPCs to move the plot forward. The 2.5D camera adds depth, encouraging close inspection of each scene for hidden items and story fragments.
Collected clues influence the narrative direction; the information you uncover determines which of the three endings becomes available.
- Write down object descriptions; they frequently contain narrative hints.
- After new dialogue, revisit earlier locations to see if additional interactions appear.

Multiple Endings
Blood Lily Loop offers three possible endings, each reflecting the choices you make regarding Lily’s secret and your relationship with her. The endings emerge from the cumulative decisions throughout a single playthrough.
Because endings depend on player agency, replaying the game with different dialogue options can reveal alternate conclusions without requiring separate story branches.
- Try divergent dialogue choices to observe how they shift the outcome.
- Consider the moral weight of each decision; even small shifts can affect the final ending.

Visual Style and Camera
The game employs 2.5D camerawork, blending two‑dimensional sprites with three‑dimensional depth to create an immersive environment. Sprite assets come from “わたおきば” (Wataokiba) under a commercial‑friendly license.
This visual approach enhances the horror atmosphere while retaining an indie aesthetic, allowing players to feel present in each unsettling scene.
- Observe background details; the 2.5D perspective often hides narrative elements.
- Watch how lighting changes with camera movement to gauge mood shifts.
