About Blightstone
Blightstone places you in a relentless quest to guard the Earthglass Crystal while guiding it toward the Infernal Rift. Delivering the crystal to the Rift is presented as the way to defeat the demon overlord Korghul and break the Blightstone.
The game mixes deep strategy with roguelike progression, offering free movement, environmental tactics, dynamic weather, and five hero classes. Procedural generation ensures each journey feels distinct as the story of the Rift, the Crystal, and the Blightstone unfolds.
01 / THE GUIDE
Core Objective
Your main task is to keep the Earthglass Crystal alive while escorting it toward the Infernal Rift. The description links protecting the crystal with reaching the Rift, which is required to defeat Korghul and shatter the Blightstone.
Deaths are expected; each defeat grants new skills that persist into future attempts. This encourages learning from failure and experimenting with different tactics on subsequent runs.
- Note which abilities unlock after each defeat.
- Focus early attempts on keeping the crystal out of harm.

Dynamic Battlefield
Movement is unrestricted, allowing you to seek cover without a grid. Enemies also ignore grids, creating fluid angles for attack and retreat.
The environment can be altered: you may hide in long grass, burn it to deny cover, or gather foes in water to boost electric attacks.
- Burn grass when enemies use it for cover.
- Lure groups into water before using electric skills.

Weather Mechanics
Dynamic weather directly influences tactics. Dense fog obscures the battlefield, rain amplifies electric attacks, and strong winds affect accuracy.
Observing the current condition lets you adapt—use rain for electric combos or switch to close‑range skills when fog limits visibility.
- Prioritize electric attacks during rain.
- Choose tighter‑range abilities when fog is thick.

Hero Classes
You can recruit heroes from five classes—Brawler, Hunter, Arcanist, Druid, and Priest—each offering unique abilities and companions.
Each class fills a combat role, letting you combine melee, ranged, and support options to address the ever‑changing battlefield.
- Mix melee and ranged classes for balanced offense.
- Include a Priest when you expect prolonged fights.

Skill System
A wide range of active and passive skills can be unlocked for both heroes and the Earthglass Crystal, covering melee, ranged, area‑of‑effect, and grappling actions.
Combat can apply status effects such as bleeding, poison, binding, stun, or burn, which may shift the outcome of an encounter.
- Experiment with grappling combined with area effects for crowd control.
- Watch for status‑effect triggers to turn battles in your favor.
