About Blazing Sails

Blazing Sails offers several multiplayer modes where crews hunt treasure, fight on land, or clash at sea. Each mode rewards teamwork, whether you are scouting islands, boarding ships, or capturing flags.

Players select from four ship classes—Brigantine, Junk Ship, Bomb Vessel, or 2‑player Sloop—and customise pirates and vessels with cosmetic parts and legendary weapons.

01 / THE GUIDE

Treasure Hunt Mode

Crews explore islands to locate treasure chests, then deliver the loot to one of two central outposts for gold.

The crew with the most gold at match end wins, so teams must balance island searching with defending their haul.

  • Scout multiple islands early to locate chests before opponents.
  • Assign a guard at the outpost while others continue searching.

02 / THE GUIDE

Battle Royale Mode

This mode mixes dry‑land swashbuckling with naval combat, letting crews fight on foot and at sea.

Victory is achieved by sinking every other crew’s ship, making ship handling essential alongside on‑foot fighting.

  • Balance aggression on land with keeping your ship afloat.
  • Use larger hull ships to absorb early damage while smaller vessels flank.

03 / THE GUIDE

Galleon Conquest Mode

Players board a massive Galleon for broadside battles, sinking enemy ships and capturing flags.

Success depends on coordinated firepower and maneuverability, rewarding crews that can switch between firing and flag‑capture duties.

  • Focus fire on a single enemy ship to reduce its firepower quickly.
  • Rotate crew members between shooting and flag tasks to stay flexible.

04 / THE GUIDE

Ship Types and Play Styles

Four ship classes are available: the durable Brigantine, the fast Junk Ship with a front‑facing cannon, the long‑range Bomb Vessel with a mortar, and the compact 2‑player Sloop.

Each class changes how crews approach combat and navigation, letting teams pick a vessel that fits their preferred tactics.

  • Choose the Brigantine for sustained battles where durability matters.
  • Use the Junk Ship for hit‑and‑run assaults against larger vessels.

05 / THE GUIDE

Customisation – Build‑A‑Buccaneer

Players can personalise ships and pirates with parts, clothing, and accessories such as embroidered jackets, gilded hulls, and golden peg legs.

Legendary weapons—including a sharpshooter, Sword of the Sea, shoulder‑cannon, and fish‑launcher—can be equipped to alter combat approaches.

  • Match visual customisation with weapon choices that suit your ship’s strengths.
  • Try different legendary weapons to see which complements your crew’s tactics.
