About BLADECHIMERA
Blade Chimera follows Shin, a memory‑lost demon hunter, and his companion Lux, a demon that can become a sword and bend time. Together they traverse a corrupted Osaka, battling hostile demons while uncovering the mystery of Shin’s past.
The game blends metroidvania exploration with a skill‑tree system, offering varied weapons—from firearms to greatswords—and platform‑spanning abilities like double‑jump and warp. Developed by Team Ladybug, it expands on their previous titles with a larger map and numerous side quests.

Narrative Background
The world of Blade Chimera was reshaped by a demonic invasion known as the Demon War, where humans fought ghouls and ghosts. Decades later, the Holy Union, a religious group, maintains a small enclave of survivors. Shin awakens with no memories and partners with Lux, a shapeshifting demon sword, to discover what happened to his loved ones while confronting the lingering threat of demons.

Lux’s Utility Functions
Lux can transform into a sword for combat, generate shields to protect Shin, act as a platform for traversal, and restore objects from the past. Using Lux’s platform ability enables access to higher areas, while her time‑restoration can alter certain obstacles, expanding exploration options.

These upgrades directly affect exploration, allowing players to revisit earlier zones with new mobility options.
- Prioritize Warp if you prefer quick navigation across the large map.
