About Black Hole Fishing

Black Hole Fishing is an incremental casual simulation where you use a singularity to pull fish from a pond and grow an ever‑larger operation. You begin with a modest pond, catch exotic fish, and feed the black hole to make it stronger, unlocking bigger payouts.

Beyond simple fishing, the game lets you experiment with fish traits, paint and inject them for profit, cross‑breed in a hatchery, and even fire them from a cannon. Upgrades, a particle collider, and six Quantum Sharks add layers of absurd science as the mystery of the “Fishy Business” unfolds.

01 / THE GUIDE

Black Hole Mechanics

The core loop revolves around a hungry singularity that sucks fish straight out of the pond. Feeding the black hole makes it larger, which in turn improves fishing efficiency. A larger hole directly translates to bigger catches and higher payouts, encouraging continual upgrades of the singularity.

  • Observe how hole size scales with each feed to plan upgrade timing.
  • Compare early and later hole sizes to gauge efficiency gains.

02 / THE GUIDE

Fish Stocking & Automation

You can stock the pond with fish manually or automate restocking through upgrades. Upgrading stockers improves the flow of fish into the pond, supporting larger black‑hole feeds. Automation reduces the need for constant manual input, letting the singularity operate more continuously.

  • Upgrade stockers early to keep a steady supply for the hole.
  • Balance manual catches with automated stock to avoid overflow.

Fish Science: Paint, Inject & Cross‑Breed

The game lets you inject traits directly into fish, paint them, and compare results to select the most profitable specimens. Cross‑breeding in the hatchery discovers new traits that can be optimized for earnings. These scientific steps let you speed‑run evolution, turning fish into higher‑value assets before they are consumed by the black hole.

  • Test a few trait injections before committing large numbers.
  • Track which painted fish yield the best bonuses.

04 / THE GUIDE

Cannon Launches & Bonus Effects

After optimizing fish, you can fire your favorites out of a cannon. Launches trigger bonus effects that boost profits or provide other in‑game benefits. Using the cannon strategically after upgrades can amplify earnings beyond standard black‑hole catches.

  • Launch after a major upgrade to maximize bonus impact.
  • Experiment with different fish types to see which bonuses activate.

05 / THE GUIDE

Particle Collider & Quantum Sharks

A Large Halibut Collider™ lets you operate a particle collider for scientific purposes, unlocking powerful tools and discovering the six Quantum Sharks. These elements add a layer of absurd research to the fishing loop. Discovering all Quantum Sharks signals deep progress in the game’s mysterious science theme.

  • Activate the collider after securing a stable fish supply.
  • Track which shark unlocks correspond to which upgrades.
