About Beastieball
Coach a team of Beasties in turn‑based volleyball matches that play out on a tiny tactics grid. Each Beastie brings its own traits, and when you have the ball you can pass, set and unleash a combo move that reflects the relationships you have built.
Beyond the court you explore an open world filled with ranked coaches, corporate sponsors and a mysterious Sports King. Defeating coaches raises your ranking, unlocks story moments and lets you enter the Crown Series, while all bosses appear on the map from the start and can be faced in any order.

Turn‑Based Volleyball Battles
Matches occur on a tiny tactics grid where the team possessing the ball selects from several actions to pass and set up an attack. The opponent’s turn requires you to choose a defensive play based on their anticipated move.
Each Beastie has unique traits, strengths and weaknesses, so the composition of your lineup changes the strategic options available in every encounter.

Relationship‑Based Combo Moves
Beasties can form bonds labeled BESTIES, PARTNERS, RIVALS or SWEETHEARTS. Beasties that form these bonds gain a powerful combo move, unique to every pair, that can turn the tide in a tough match.
These combos are tied to the specific pair, so the choice of which Beasties you pair directly influences the options you have for a decisive attack.

Open World and Ranked Coaches
The game presents an open world where you encounter a varied cast of ranked coaches, each with their own story. Defeating a coach adds them to a list you can later hang out with for extra narrative content.
All bosses appear on the map from the start, allowing you to challenge them in any order. Each victory makes the remaining opponents stronger, creating a dynamic difficulty curve.

Accessibility and Control Options
Beastieball provides full controller support, a Keyboard Only Option, adjustable difficulty, camera comfort, custom volume controls and the ability to play without timed input, letting players choose their preferred input method and pacing.
These options are listed separately, meaning you can select any combination that suits your needs, such as using a controller while also disabling timed input, though the game does not state they are mutually exclusive.
