About Bean Battles

Bean Battles reshapes the battle‑royale formula by compressing each match into a series of brief, high‑intensity rounds. The safe zone contracts after just 60 seconds, forcing players to loot quickly and engage almost immediately.

Matches support 2‑3 players by default but can scale to sixteen, allowing friends to team up or compete in larger free‑for‑all games. Before each match you set guns, equipment, player count and round count, and you can equip dozens of unlockable cosmetic items.

01 / THE GUIDE

Fast‑Paced Rounds

Each round lasts only a few minutes, a stark contrast to the typical 20‑minute looting phase of many battle royales. The zone closes after 60 seconds, so players must prioritize rapid loot collection and swift movement toward safety.

If a player is eliminated, they can spectate the remainder of the round, observing opponents and the zone’s progression while planning their approach for the next round.

  • Focus on immediate loot to stay inside the shrinking zone.
  • Use spectating time to note opponent positioning.

Customizable Match Rules

Before starting a server you choose the guns and equipment that will be available, letting groups tailor combat to their preferences. This selection applies to every round of the match.

You also set the number of players and the total rounds, creating a flexible experience that can range from quick duels to extended free‑for‑all sessions.

  • Try different gun sets to see which fit the short‑round rhythm.
  • Adjust round count to match the time you have available.

Multiplayer Capacity

Bean Battles can host matches with as few as two players and scale up to sixteen participants, supporting both intimate duels and larger chaotic battles.

Online PvP lets friends join the same server or face other players in matches.

  • Begin with smaller player counts to learn map layout.
  • Larger matches increase combat density and loot competition.

04 / THE GUIDE

Vehicles for Mobility

Vehicles are scattered throughout the map, providing rapid transportation that can help players escape the closing zone or chase down opponents.

Because rounds are short, securing a vehicle early often determines whether you can reach loot or the safe zone before the zone forces movement.

  • Grab a vehicle as soon as possible to stay ahead of the zone.
  • Learn common spawn locations to anticipate early movement routes.

Supported Platforms

Bean Battles runs on Windows, macOS and Linux via Steam, giving a broad PC audience access to the same online features such as leaderboards and achievements.

The Steam listing also includes Steam Cloud, Steam Workshop and Family Sharing among its supported features.

  • Check Steam Cloud settings to retain your save data.
  • Browse the Steam Workshop for community‑created cosmetics.
