01 / THE GUIDE
Factions and Maps
Players choose to fight as American or Imperial Japanese soldiers, each defending a specific island. The four maps are Iwo Jima, Peleliu, Manila Bay, and Attu Island, representing Japanese and American defensive positions.
Each map presents its own terrain: tropical beaches on Iwo Jima and Peleliu, a Philippine bay on Manila Bay, and a cold Alaskan island on Attu. The terrain influences where machine guns, turrets and artillery can be placed.
- Compare the open beaches of Iwo Jima with the rugged, colder terrain of Attu to see which environment matches your defensive preferences.
- Switch factions on each map to experience the distinct weapon selections each side provides.

Weapon Types
The game supplies iconic WWII weapons, including machine guns, naval guns, anti‑aircraft guns, and mortar attacks. Players can also apply temporary upgrades such as poison gas, armor‑piercing shells, explosives and incendiary bombs.
Upgrades can be combined, creating more powerful effects that can be matched to the current threat, whether it is infantry, tanks or aircraft.
- Test different upgrade combinations against specific enemy types to see which yields the highest damage.
- Deploy anti‑aircraft guns when enemy fighters and bombers become the dominant threat.

Defensive Tools
Beyond guns, players can fortify positions with anti‑personnel mines, anti‑tank mines and explosive barrels. Artillery fire and naval gun nests provide long‑range support, while supply drops occasionally add bonuses.
These tools let you shape choke points and destroy clusters of enemies as they advance across the beach, adding a layer of strategic placement to each wave.
- Place anti‑tank mines along expected vehicle routes for maximum impact.
- Combine explosive barrels with mortar strikes to increase area denial.

Multiplayer Co‑op
Beach Invasion 1945‑Pacific introduces online co‑op, allowing friends to join the same defensive effort. Each participant can man separate machine guns, turrets or artillery positions on the shared maps.
Co‑op uses the same weapon options and maps as single‑player, but adds the dynamic of teamwork.
- Coordinate with teammates to cover different enemy approaches at the same time.
- Assign one player to focus on anti‑aircraft while another handles ground threats.

Weather and Time Cycle
Battles occur under changing weather conditions and transition between day and night. These environmental shifts affect visibility and can alter the intensity of enemy attacks.
The dynamic setting adds variety to each wave, requiring players to adapt tactics as conditions evolve.
- Use night rounds to rely more on sound cues and less on visual range.
- Adjust gun placement for rain‑affected visibility during storms.
