About Barista Simulator
Barista Simulator puts you behind the counter of a bustling coffee shop, letting you brew more than 30 distinct coffee recipes such as Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Tripplo and Doppio. Each drink requires the appropriate real‑world equipment and ingredients, and serving customers drives the core loop.
Beyond brewing, you manage supplies, hire and train staff, and expand your café’s space, décor and service stations. Profitability determines how quickly you can upgrade machines, unlock new recipes and grow from a modest stall to the town’s favorite coffee hub.

Coffee Recipes
The game lists over 30 unique coffee recipes, each named in the description (Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Tripplo, Doppio and more). Recipes are tied to specific equipment, so unlocking a new drink often requires acquiring the matching machine.
Because each recipe has its own ingredient list, players must keep track of stock levels for beans, milk, syrups and other items. Running out of a required ingredient will prevent you from completing orders for that drink until you restock.
- Check which ingredients are needed for each new recipe before purchasing equipment.
- Keep a small reserve of high‑use items like beans and milk to avoid interruptions during busy periods.

Café Expansion
Players start with a small coffee spot and can enlarge the café, add décor and introduce new service stations such as ice makers, shakers or mixers. Expansion is described as “Start small and grow big.”
Each expansion costs cash, linking financial performance to physical growth. A larger floor can host more customers, but also increases the need for efficient staff placement and supply management.
- Prioritize space upgrades that allow additional equipment before spending on decorative items.
- Plan the layout of new stations to keep the workflow linear and reduce back‑and‑forth movement.

Hiring and Training
The description notes you can “find, hire, and train the best crew to keep your café running smoothly, especially during those rush hours.” Staff members assist with order preparation and service speed.
Training improves a staff member’s efficiency, which directly influences how quickly drinks are completed. Balancing wages against the benefit of faster service is part of the management challenge.
- Hire early enough to have trained staff ready before peak traffic times.
- Monitor each employee’s performance and consider retraining if speed drops.

Money Matters
Cash flow is tracked from buying ingredients to upgrading equipment and décor. The description emphasizes “Keep track of your cash, from buying ingredients to upgrading your space.”
Profitable decisions allow you to fund new machines, larger premises and staff wages. Overspending on non‑essential items can stall progress, while careful budgeting accelerates growth.
- Review daily expenses to spot unnecessary ingredient waste.
- Set aside a portion of profit each day for future upgrades.

Real‑World Machines
Barista Simulator includes authentic equipment: espresso machines, grinders, milk frothers, ice makers, shakers and mixers. Each machine is required for specific recipes, linking hardware ownership to menu variety.
Acquiring a new machine unlocks the drinks that depend on it, encouraging strategic purchases based on the recipes you wish to offer.
- Identify which high‑margin drinks require new equipment before buying.
- Arrange machines in a logical order to minimize movement between stations.
