About Backrooms Cleanup Crew
Backrooms Cleanup Crew puts you in the shoes of a F‑Corp cleaner tasked with tidying up the chaotic aftermath of other corporations’ mishaps inside the Backrooms. You and up to three teammates race against time, scrubbing walls, binning objects, and dodging deadly Incursions while trying to finish each room as fast as possible.
The game offers three difficulty settings—Normal, Hard, and Peaceful—across 24 distinct levels that together take roughly five hours to experience. Developed by the two‑person studio On The Bridge Games, it supports both solo and online co‑op play with full controller compatibility and Steam features such as achievements and cloud saves.
01 / THE GUIDE
Gameplay Basics
Players clean rooms by scrubbing walls and collecting every object, which can be tossed across the room to speed up the process. The goal is to finish each level as quickly as possible while staying alive. Incursions appear during cleaning; you must dodge their attacks and erase glowing markings to stop new attacks and gain cleaning speed.
- Prioritize clearing markings early to boost cleaning speed.
- Coordinate movement with teammates to avoid clustering during Incursions.

Nozzle Types
The game lets you switch between different nozzle types to match the cleaning task at hand. Each nozzle offers a distinct way to interact with walls and objects. Choosing the appropriate nozzle can make scrubbing or object collection more efficient, especially under time pressure.
- Experiment with each nozzle in a short level to learn its strengths.
- Swap nozzles before a new type of debris appears.

Incursions
Incursions are increasingly difficult and deadly events that occur while you clean. They attack you, and you must dodge their assaults. Glowing markings appear during an Incursion; cleaning these markings prevents further attacks and grants power that speeds up your cleaning.
- Watch for the first glowing marking as an early warning.
- Keep movement fluid to maintain distance from Incursion attacks.
