About Atlantic Fleet

You direct surface ships, submarines, carriers and land‑based aircraft across historic convoy routes while managing limited resources.
The title offers 30 historical single missions, a custom battle editor, 50‑mission campaigns per side and a full dynamic campaign spanning 1939‑1945. With realistic buoyancy physics, subsystem targeting and over 60 ship classes, the game blends deep planning with quick tactical decisions.

Historical Single Missions
The game includes 30 stand‑alone historical missions that let you experience specific naval engagements from the Battle of the Atlantic. Each mission is self‑contained, focusing on either convoy protection or offensive German actions.
These missions are separate from the longer campaigns and can be played without accessing the editor or dynamic mode, offering a quick way to test tactics against historically based scenarios.
- Try different ship compositions to see how each handles the mission’s objectives.
- Compare the outcomes of Allied convoy defense versus German wolf‑pack attacks for insight.

Custom Battle Editor
Atlantic Fleet provides a Single Battle Editor that lets players design their own engagements. You can place ships, submarines and aircraft on custom maps, creating unique scenarios beyond the preset missions.
The editor works alongside the historical missions, giving you full control over unit selection and layout, which is useful for testing strategies or crafting personal challenges.
- Use the editor to recreate a favorite historical encounter with altered forces.
- Save multiple setups to compare how different tactics affect the same map.

Dynamic Campaign
The Dynamic Campaign runs from 1939 to 1945, simulating the entire Battle of the Atlantic with limited resources, authentic convoy routes and weather effects. Players manage a fleet over many months, making strategic decisions that influence later engagements.
The 50‑mission campaigns for each navy are a separate mode alongside the Dynamic Campaign, offering long‑term planning and adaptation as the war progresses.
- Monitor resource limits closely; they shape your strategic options.
- Observe how weather changes impact movement and combat outcomes.

Ship and Submarine Variety
The title features 62 historical ship classes, representing over 630 surface vessels and 450 submarines, plus 13 aircraft types. This breadth lets you field destroyers, cruisers, carriers, wolf‑pack submarines and more.
Each unit behaves according to realistic buoyancy physics, and you can target specific subsystems rather than generic hit‑point bars, adding tactical depth to engagements.
- Experiment with different submarine classes to see how wolf‑pack tactics differ.
- Target enemy subsystems that affect propulsion or weapons for quicker crippling.

Game Modes Overview
Atlantic Fleet offers three main modes: the Single Battle Editor with historical missions, 50‑mission campaigns per faction, and the full Dynamic Campaign covering the entire war period. Each mode supports up to 10 versus 10 ships in combat.
All modes are single‑player experiences, include no advertising or pay‑to‑progress elements, and are available on Windows and macOS platforms.
