About Assetto Corsa Rally
Assetto Corsa Rally is a rally‑focused simulation built on the Assetto Corsa physics engine and a custom Unreal Engine 5 build. It targets a demanding experience where weather, surface type and car dynamics directly influence performance.
The early‑access launch provides ten licensed cars, four laser‑scanned real‑world stages, and both offline and online modes. Future updates promise more cars, stages, VR support and a rally school, letting the community shape the game.
01 / THE GUIDE
Licensed Cars
The base release ships with ten officially licensed rally cars, ranging from the 1964 Mini Cooper S to the 2021 Hyundai i20N Rally2. Each vehicle is modeled to reflect its historic class and drivetrain, offering distinct handling characteristics.
Subsequent updates add three more cars—Audi Quattro, Peugeot 206 WRC and Volkswagen Polo GTI R5—extending the roster across 38 years of rally history and providing additional drivetrain options for players.
- Check the in‑game car list after each update to see new additions.
- Compare the handling feel of FWD, RWD and AWD cars in a short practice run.

Real‑World Stages
Four laser‑scanned stages are included at launch: two in Wales (Hafren North & South) and two in Alsace (Munster & Saverne). The stages capture accurate road geometry, elevation changes and surface types for realistic driving.
Later updates introduce Greek gravel stages (Elatia, Loutraki) and Monte Carlo snow‑ice stages, each with dynamic weather and multiple layout variants that expand the environmental variety.
- Use the stage preview to study elevation before racing.
- Observe how surface changes affect grip during a practice lap.

Game Modes
Players can compete in Assetto Corsa Rally Events with online leaderboards, Free Practice, Rally Weekend, Single Rally Stage and Time Attack. All modes are available offline and online, offering varied ways to engage with the stages.
Online multiplayer supports private and public lobbies for up to 16 players in single‑stage competitions, allowing custom races or participation in rotating weekly events.
- Start with Free Practice to learn a stage before entering leaderboards.
- Create a private lobby to test setups without affecting rankings.

Hardware Support
The simulation offers full support for triple screens, direct‑input racing wheels and other peripherals. Audio options include stereo, surround and HDR visual settings, enhancing immersion for wheel‑and‑pedal setups.
A physics‑based damage system and multiple audio effects provide authentic car feedback, complementing the detailed physics model for realistic driving sensations.
- Enable triple‑screen mode for a wider field of view on stages.
- Calibrate wheel force feedback after major updates for consistency.
