About Anymaker
Anymaker places you in a hostile open world where survival depends on designing and operating vehicles. You begin with a small craft, scavenge parts from buildings, and assemble chassis, engines, cables, and microcontrollers before testing them against the environment.
The game offers a sandbox mode with all parts and free flight, a story‑driven trek through underground military complexes, and up to six‑player cooperative play using keyboard‑mouse or gamepad, with built‑in voice chat and radio.
01 / THE GUIDE
Vehicle Building
Construction uses a grid‑based system where you place chassis, engines, cables, and microcontrollers. Every building you discover contains parts that can be reclaimed and repurposed, allowing iterative design directly in the world.
Controllers can be programmed through a drag‑and‑drop editor or by editing text, giving you control over vehicle logic before testing performance in the open world.
- Experiment with both editor styles to see which fits your workflow.
- Reclaim parts from multiple buildings to expand your component pool.
02 / THE GUIDE
Sandbox Mode
Sandbox mode provides immediate access to every part and tool, and enables free flight without any threats. This removes the need to scavenge and lets you focus purely on experimentation.
With every part and tool available you can build large or unconventional vehicles, such as helicopters or amphibious trucks, and test them without inventory constraints.
- Use free flight to check aerial stability before finalizing a design.
- Combine land and water propulsion to explore multiple biomes.

Co‑op Multiplayer
Up to six players can collaborate on any building, building together on the same vehicle. Voice chat and radio communication let teams coordinate construction and exploration efficiently.
All game features, including vehicle assembly and underground bunker missions, are available in co‑op, so friends can tackle challenges together.
- Assign each player a subsystem (chassis, engine, wiring, programming) to streamline teamwork.
- Use the radio channel for quick alerts when wildlife appears.

Environmental Challenges
The world features a day‑night cycle and weather simulation that includes wind, rain, fog, temperature, and lightning storms. These elements are part of the game's visual and atmospheric design.
Wildlife, undead, and remaining military forces act as dynamic threats that you may need to evade or engage while traveling between safe bases.
- Observe how weather looks while driving to gauge its visual impact.
- Stay alert for signs of nearby wildlife or undead.

Progression and Unlocks
Exploring underground military and research complexes reveals the disaster’s backstory and rewards you with advanced parts, items, weapons, and tougher enemies. Each completed bunker expands the pool of components you can use.
The unlock system ties narrative discovery to tangible additions, encouraging deeper exploration of the sprawling world.
- Take note of new parts found in each bunker for future builds.
- Compare weapon attachments discovered in different facilities.
