About Anarcute

Anarcute puts you in charge of a growing crowd of cute rioters, turning city streets into a chaotic playground. The larger the crowd, the more powerful the attacks, letting you hurl everyday objects or even topple whole buildings.

The game spans five distinct cities—five cities, including Tokyo, Paris, Reykjavik and Miami—each with its own visual and audio style. While battling the high‑tech Brainwash Patrol, you can explore, collect animals and customize the crowd’s appearance.

01 / THE GUIDE

Crowd Growth

Your power scales directly with the number of rioters you rally; a bigger crowd grants more devastating abilities. Awakening nearby citizens expands the group and increases damage potential.

When the crowd reaches certain thresholds you can perform actions such as toppling buildings, turning the city layout itself into a weapon against the Brainwash Patrol.

  • Seek densely populated streets to maximize early crowd gains.
  • Watch the crowd count before and after a successful rally to gauge growth speed.

02 / THE GUIDE

Environmental Weaponry

Any street object—phone booths, fire hydrants, trash cans, bikes, cars—can be picked up and thrown at the Brainwash Patrol. These improvised weapons add variety to the chaos.

If your crowd becomes large enough you can also bring down whole buildings, using the city’s layout as a strategic advantage.

  • Experiment with different objects to see which travel farther.
  • Observe how building size influences collapse timing.

03 / THE GUIDE

Enemy Facilities and Traps

The Brainwash Patrol defends each city with lasers, electric turrets, spider robots, helicopters and mortars. These devices create layered challenges as you move through the levels.

Understanding each enemy’s behavior helps you decide when to rely on crowd size versus environmental attacks for maximum effect.

  • Watch turret activation patterns before committing a large crowd.
  • Compare the impact of aerial threats versus ground‑based traps.

04 / THE GUIDE

City Exploration

Each of the five cities offers unique visual and audio settings. Exploring every corner reveals hidden animals and additional objects you can use as projectiles.

You can find animals throughout the cities and customize the crowd to your taste, adding a personal touch.

  • Map out districts to locate animal spawns efficiently.
  • Notice how different city layouts affect crowd movement.

05 / THE GUIDE

Platform Features

Anarcute runs on Windows and includes full controller support, Steam Achievements, Trading Cards, Captions, Steam Cloud, Remote Play on TV and Family Sharing. These features broaden accessibility.

The game is single‑player; Steam Cloud and Captions are among its listed Steam features, with captions providing visual dialogue cues.

  • Enable captions if you prefer visual cues for dialogue.
  • Use Remote Play on TV to enjoy the chaos on a larger screen.
