About Among Us 3D

Among Us 3D translates the classic social‑deduction party game into a fully three‑dimensional space for 4‑10 players. Crewmates complete tasks while Impostors sabotage, lie, and eliminate, with Emergency Meetings and venting retained in first‑person view.

The title adds fan‑favorite roles, a Tag Mode where Infected chase Crewmates, and custom lobbies that support native cross‑play with its own VR version. Cosmetic customization uses Stardust, an exclusive in‑game currency.

01 / THE GUIDE

Core Gameplay

In Classic mode, Crewmates must finish every task or vote out the Impostor to win. Tasks are presented with immersive first‑person controls, and players can call Emergency Meetings to discuss suspicious behavior.

Impostors win by killing Crewmates or causing sabotage that the crew cannot resolve. Vents remain a tool for Impostors to move unseen, and both sides rely on observation and discussion to achieve their goals.

  • Watch player movement near vents for clues.
  • Call an Emergency Meeting promptly if sabotage appears.

02 / THE GUIDE

Roles and Tag Mode

Beyond Crewmate and Impostor, the game offers additional roles like the vent‑using Engineer and AU3D‑exclusive Wraith and Vigilante. Each role provides its own abilities that affect how players navigate the map and interact with others.

Tag Mode pits Infected against Crewmates. The Infected spread by tagging players, while Crewmates aim to finish a set number of tasks before infection overtakes the team.

  • Try Engineer to access vents safely.
  • Prioritize tasks early in Tag Mode to stay ahead of infection.

Custom Lobbies & Cross‑Platform Play

Players can create private lobbies with personalized gameplay, comfort, and moderation settings, inviting friends directly without external chat apps. These lobbies support up to ten participants and allow hosts to adjust voice and text options.

The game features native cross‑play with its own VR version, enabling mixed‑device sessions. It does not crossplay with the original Among Us, keeping the two communities separate.

  • Set moderation filters to mute disruptive players.
  • Invite VR friends for a mixed‑reality experience.

04 / THE GUIDE

Cosmetics & Stardust

Crewmates can be customized with unlimited colors, hats, gloves, and skins. Additional cosmetic items are sold for Stardust, an in‑game currency that can be purchased with real money.

Stardust is exclusive to Among Us 3D and cannot be transferred to or from the original game, ensuring a separate economy for cosmetic purchases.

  • Review the store catalog before purchasing to choose desired items.
  • Mix colors and accessories to create a distinctive look.

05 / THE GUIDE

Communication Tools

The game includes native proximity voice chat, allowing players to speak when nearby. Private lobbies remove the need for external chat apps, and Quick Text options provide fast typed communication.

A new Gesture system lets players express themselves physically, adding a non‑verbal layer to discussions and deception during matches.

  • Use proximity voice to coordinate tasks with teammates nearby.
  • Employ gestures to convey suspicion without speaking.
