About Ale Abbey - Monastery Brewery Tycoon
Ale Abbey puts you in charge of a monastery‑centered brewery, letting you craft more than 20 European ale styles. You name each brew, set mash temperature, quantity and quality, then choose to age it in cold cellars or sell it at market.
Above ground you construct living quarters, Libraries, Breweries, a Refectory and the Abbot’s Office, while below ground you expand the sacred cold cellars. Managing production, trade, and occasional bandit encounters determines the abbey’s rise to glory.

Brewing Mechanics
The game offers a vast array of over 20 European ale styles. You can give each brew a unique name and experiment with mash temperature, quantity and quality to discover special traits before the ale is finished.

- Vary mash temperature slightly between batches to see how traits change.
- Compare market sales of aged versus fresh ales to gauge popularity differences.

Expanding these structures creates a functional hub for holy hops, allowing you to scale production and improve monk workflow as the monastery grows.
- Place Breweries near cold cellars to shorten the path for aging ales.
