About AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed
Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed drops players into a faithful recreation of Akihabara, Japan’s electronics district, reproducing every major outdoor location and more than 130 real‑life shops as they appeared from fall 2012 through summer 2013. The story follows Nanashi, turned undead by the Synthisters, and the hunter Shizuku as they join the Akiba Freedom Fighters to stop the vampire‑like plague.
Combat is a brawler where any object—baseball bat, comic, motherboard—can be wielded, and individual clothing items can be stripped from foes and added to the player’s inventory. Choices affect a satirical narrative that references anime and video‑game tropes, leading to multiple distinct endings, while an in‑game smartphone provides side quests and tools for identifying the undead.

Customizable Brawler Combat
Combat lets any object become a weapon, from baseball bats to comics to motherboards, and lets players target individual clothing items. Stripped garments are added to the player’s inventory for later use.
The system rewards creative approaches, as players can experiment with unconventional tools and manage enemy attire to gain tactical advantages during fights.
- Try using non‑weapon items like comics; they still deal damage.
