GET YOUR BEARINGS
About Airborne Kingdom
Airborne Kingdom is a single-player sky-city builder in which you guide a fledgling floating town toward a sprawling metropolis. The premise follows the disappearance of a mythical airborne empire that once united the world's nations, and your task is to rekindle that hope by constructing, researching, and sustaining a community aloft.
The world is randomized, offering varied ground locations for resource gathering, quests, and hidden ruins. A Creative Mode removes resource limits and time pressure, while previously released DLC adds New Game Plus and Hard Mode for additional challenges.
01 / THE GUIDE
City Construction
You place housing, service, and research buildings to satisfy citizens who need food, medicine, and assorted creature comforts. Each structure adds mass, so you must keep lift, propulsion, and air drag in balance to stay airborne.
Expanding the city's footprint changes its tilt and drag profile. Managing these physics elements determines how far you can travel across the sky while keeping the population supplied.
- Start with lightweight structures to reduce early drag.
- Cluster service buildings near residences to streamline citizen needs.

Resource Gathering
The sky-borne city roams the world to locate raw materials on the ground. Extracted items are processed into usable resources that fund new construction and expansion.
Because the world is randomized, you will encounter different sites each playthrough, linking exploration directly to city growth.
- Scout several regions before establishing a primary hub.
- Upgrade processing facilities to improve conversion rates.

Ground Kingdom Interaction
Ground kingdoms have struggled since the original Airborne Kingdom vanished. By completing quests for them you earn their allegiance, which expands the floating city's influence and establishes its legacy.
Questing ties diplomatic success to tangible city benefits, so plan expeditions around the kingdoms you most want to bring into the fold.
- Prioritize quests that grant immediate resource rewards.
- Maintain a steady supply of food and medicine to keep citizens content while you pursue allegiance.

Creative Mode
Creative Mode removes resource limits and time pressure, allowing you to build without constraints. This sandbox lets you experiment with layout, aesthetics, and large-scale engineering free from the pressures of the campaign.
Use it to relax or to try bold ideas before committing to them in a resource-limited run.
- Try different building placements to see their effect on tilt.
- Save multiple versions to compare design outcomes.

Audio-Visual Presentation
The game features a vibrant art style that highlights the floating city's serenity, complemented by a calming soundtrack that reinforces the hopeful atmosphere of restoring a world in need.
This presentation supports both focused building sessions and leisurely exploration, making the game as much about atmosphere as about systems.
- Adjust audio settings for longer building sessions.
- Take time to enjoy the scenery while the city drifts across the sky.
