About Agent 64: Spies Never Die
Agent 64: Spies Never Die drops players into a retro‑styled first‑person shooter that mimics 1990s console action. You assume the role of Secret Agent John Walter, battling AI foes across skyscrapers, nightclubs, museums, catacombs and snow bases. The game offers a solo campaign and cooperative play via split‑screen or online, plus a suite of multiplayer modes. With three difficulty tiers, a Paradox modifier system and extensive controller support, it blends classic shoot‑‘em‑up pacing with modern customization.
01 / THE GUIDE
Story Mode
The campaign consists of 14 missions that can be tackled alone or with friends in co‑op, either split‑screen or online. Each mission is a self‑contained environment where objectives range from hacking terminals to rescuing hostages while fighting armed guards.
Missions are set in varied locales such as skyscrapers, nightclubs, museums, catacombs and snow bases, providing a diverse visual backdrop for the espionage narrative.
- Try the first mission solo to learn controls before inviting a co‑op partner.
- Experiment with different objectives to discover hidden areas.

Difficulty Levels
Every mission can be played on Agent, Special Agent, or 64 Agent difficulty. Higher levels add more objectives and open areas to explore, encouraging deeper engagement with each map.
The game suggests starting on Agent to become familiar, then increasing difficulty to uncover additional content.
- Begin with Agent to learn mission layouts.
- Raise the difficulty after mastering a level to access extra objectives.

Paradox Mode
Paradox Mode unlocks after beating par times and other trials, offering over 70 modifiers such as Big Heads, Melee Disarms, Slow Bullet Speeds and No Reload. These modifiers alter regular gameplay for an unorthodox challenge.
Additional content called Complete Contracts provides remixed missions with preset Paradox modifiers, further expanding the modifier pool.
- Activate a single modifier at first to gauge its impact.
- Combine complementary modifiers for a custom challenge.
