About After Inc: Revival
After Inc: Revival drops players into a green, post‑apocalyptic United Kingdom decades after the Necroa Virus. Survivors must build settlements, scavenge ruins, and make moral choices that shape a fledgling society.
The game offers three campaigns across 28 levels, daily Expeditions, a sandbox mode without goals, and a Scenario Creator that can be shared via Steam Workshop. Leaders, traits, and hundreds of rewards add variety, while leaderboards track progress.
01 / THE GUIDE
Settlement Building
Players construct firepits, kitchens, workshops and other structures to meet settlers’ needs. Each structure serves the settlers in its own way, and building them out shapes what your settlement can support over time.
Decisions such as allocating space for children or defining the role of dogs affect settlement development. These choices make each level’s path forward a genuine dilemma, weighing your society’s values against its survival.
- Prioritise essential structures like firepits early to keep basic needs satisfied.
- Consider the long‑term impact of each decision before confirming, as it influences later options.

Campaign Structure
The core experience spans three campaigns and 28 levels, each revealing more about the world’s collapse. Progress through these levels unlocks new abilities and settlement options.
Escape Hatch mode lets players replay each level in a remixed form, offering fresh challenges on familiar levels.
- Use Escape Hatch mode to test alternative building strategies on familiar maps.
- Take notes on story clues in each level to piece together the world’s history.

Daily Expeditions
Expeditions send players to unique, dangerous regions each day, adding fresh content beyond the main campaigns. These missions require scouting and resource harvesting.
Expeditions offer new content every day, encouraging regular play and exploration of varied environments.
- Scout early in an Expedition to locate high‑value resources quickly.
- Adjust settlement focus before an Expedition to match the expected threats.

Scenario Creator & Steam Workshop
The Scenario Creator lets players design custom challenges, which can be shared via Steam Workshop. Community‑made scenarios expand replayability and showcase diverse playstyles.
Browsing the Workshop provides a steady stream of new maps and objectives, keeping the game fresh without developer updates.
- Test several Settlement Leaders when trying community scenarios to see how traits affect outcomes.
- Share your own scenarios to receive feedback and new ideas from other players.

Difficulty & Game Modes
Nine difficulty levels range from Casual to Mega‑Brutal, letting players tailor the challenge. Sandbox mode removes goals, offering endless building without impatience.
These modes coexist with the main campaigns, allowing players to switch between structured progression and open‑ended creativity.
- Start on Casual to learn mechanics, then raise difficulty for a tougher test.
- Use Sandbox mode to experiment with settlement layouts before applying them in campaigns.
