About Aethermancer

Aethermancer places you in Terastae, a world where monsters trapped in a death‑rebirth cycle await a bond with the titular Aethermancer. Guide a party of three through a sprawling, procedurally generated landscape and challenging encounters.

Combat unfolds in turn‑based battles that require managing the four Aether elements, selecting skills, and watching monster HP. Death removes a monster permanently, but a rebirth mechanic lets you restore it with altered form again.

01 / THE GUIDE

Turn‑Based Battles

Battles are turn‑based, giving each monster a distinct turn to act using elemental Aether spells and strategic positioning.

You must monitor HP, choose skills that complement your team, and consider how each action influences future growth.

  • Watch monster HP closely to avoid permanent loss.
  • Plan elemental combos ahead of each turn.

02 / THE GUIDE

Monster Bonding & Rebirth

Forming a soul bond links monsters to the Aethermancer, allowing their souls to be rebirthed after death again.

Rebirth may change a monster’s appearance, but retains previous experience and lets you continue developing its skill pool.

  • Track early skill choices to shape later abilities.
  • Use rebirth after a tough fight to adapt your monster.
