About 1000xRESIST
1000xRESIST is a sci‑fi adventure set a millennium after an alien Occupant‑borne disease decimates humanity. The lone survivor, Iris, becomes the immortal ALLMOTHER, spawning a clone society called the Sisters who live underground in the Orchard, masked against the poisoned air.
You play as the Watcher, a unique conduit who relives the ALLMOTHER’s memories through Communion with the floating AI Secretary. Between memory dives you explore the Orchard, converse with Sisters, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth behind the Occupants and the ALLMOTHER’s secrets.

Future dystopia and the Occupants
The game unfolds 1000 years after an alien race called the Occupants arrives, bringing a lethal disease that wipes out humanity in months. Iris, a teenage girl immune to the disease, survives and later becomes the ALLMOTHER, leading a clone society.
The Occupants are described as non‑hostile, yet their presence triggers humanity’s extinction, framing the narrative’s central mystery and the urgency of the Sisters’ underground existence.
- Compare the Occupants’ non‑hostile description with the catastrophic impact they cause.
- Note how the disease shapes every aspect of daily life in the Orchard.

Watcher role and Communion system
As the Watcher you have the exclusive ability to relive and interpret the ALLMOTHER’s memories via Communion, a process enabled by Secretary, a floating AI companion. This mechanic lets you jump between pivotal moments to solve puzzles and unlock hidden areas.
Communion serves as the narrative engine, letting players experience literal perspective shifts while piecing together the truth behind the ALLMOTHER’s claims and the Sisters’ reality.
- Observe how each memory transition can reveal new puzzle elements.
- Use Secretary’s presence as a narrative cue for when a new memory is accessible.

The Orchard underground hub
The Orchard is a large underground bunker that houses the Sisters, the Watcher, and various characters. It functions as a central hub where you can explore, speak to NPCs, and discover items that deepen the story.
While in the Orchard you can move freely, interact with the environment, and uncover the many things the Orchard holds as you explore.
- Map the Orchard’s layout early to locate key NPCs quickly.
- Revisit previously explored sections after new memories to find newly unlocked content.

Sisters’ assigned functions
Within the Orchard each Sister has a specific role. Six hold special titles: Principal (administration), Bang Bang Fire (military), Knower (knowledge), Fixer (engineering), Healer (medical and cloning), and the Watcher (memory interpreter). The remaining Sisters wear masks constantly to avoid the diseased air.
These roles define daily interactions and provide context for the narrative conflicts, especially after Fixer’s revelation and subsequent execution.
- Track which Sister holds which title to understand their dialogue relevance.
- Notice how the execution of Fixer impacts the engineering aspects of the Orchard.
